Dandelions! There were dandelions blooming on the lawn last week! For a moment I felt led to go out to the field and plant kale. I held back. This week there are not dandelions, the feeling has thus subsided and I have returned to my regularly scheduled hibernation mode. While the farm and I rest for the winter, I quietly plan the coming season which will be here before we – is it here?! – bringing round 2 for some delicious favorites, and a sparkling debut for new crops like sugar snap peas.
